Donegal Youth Service and youth council combine to get Donegal ‘Connecting For Life’

Donegal Youth Service
DONEGAL Youth Service and Donegal Youth Council are combining to complete a special project to launch Connecting for Life Donegal – the new county suicide prevention action plan.

‘Connecting for Life Donegal has been prepared in response to the new national strategy to prevent suicide ‘Connecting for Life’. The action plan will encourage a better understanding of suicide, suicidal behaviour and self-harm; implement targeted approaches for those who are vulnerable to suicide; improve access, consistency and integration of safe and high quality services and the care pathways between services and support communities to prevent and respond to suicide and suicidal behaviour.

The new strategy will be launched on July 13th in LYIT in Letterkenny. Donegal Youth Service along with Donegal Youth Councillors are combining to create a unique photography and film project to help launch the strategy in Donegal and raise awareness but they need your help!
