Donegal U20s hold off Armagh to book Ulster semi-final

Donegal have secured a home semi-final in the Ulster Under 20 Championship after they defeated Armagh at O’Donnell Park today.

SP Barrett’s Donegal played with the breeze in the first half and Karl Joseph Molloy’s goal helped them into a 1-3 to 0-4 lead at the break.

The home side couldn’t quite pull clear in the second half despite two frees from Luke McGlynn.

Newtowncunningham man Brendan O’Hagan scored two late frees for Armagh but Donegal held on to win.
