Donegal 3-23 Down 1-11
The Donegal Under 20s made it three wins from three in the Ulster Championship with a comfortable victory over Down in Fr Tierney Park.
Gary Boyle’s side started strong with six points from five different scorers in the first 11 minutes, but Down hit back with two pointers from Eoghan Travers and Oran Byrne.
Goals from Daithi Gildea and a Seanan Carr penalty gave Donegal a 2-10 to 0-10 advantage at the break.
Down hit back with an Eoghan Travers goal as he top scored with 1-6 for the visitors, but Gildea hit a second goal as Donegal dominated in the final 20 minutes, hitting nine points without reply late on for a comprehensive victory.
