Antrim………0-2
Donegal…….3-23
Donegal eased to victory for their second win in as many games over Antrim at the Antrim Centre of Excellence in Dunsilly on Wednesday night.
Fionn Coll’s early goal set the tone along with two points from wing back Conor McGinty as Antrim hit one point in the opening quarter through Rory McErlean.
Gary Boyle’s side then hit 1-6 without reply, three from Kevin Muldoon including a two pointer, while Seanan Carr converted a penalty won by Kevin Lynch as Donegal went into the break 2-11 to 0-2 ahead.
Carr added to his tally well in the second half from frees and a couple from play before he got a second goal after being played in by Donnachadh O Baoighill, finishing the night with 2-10.
Antrim failed to score in the second half but they had a chance to get a goal when they were awarded a penalty but Padraig MacGiolla Bhríde dived the right way and saved from Conhuir Johnston.
That leaves Donegal on four points after two games with Down next on Saturday in MacCumhaill Park at 2pm.
