Donegal 2-12 Mayo 3-8
THE Donegal Under 16 side collected their first win of the Buncrana Cup campaign when they saw off Mayo in Convoy on Saturday.
The final scoreline flattered Mayo as Donegal were the better team and should have won more convincingly.
Goals from Luke McGuinness and Turlough Carr put them into a winning position and while Mayo finished strongly, Donegal did enough.
