Three Donegal footballers have been recognised at Queen’s GAA Future Stars awards ceremony.
Mark Wilkinson (St Columba’s, College, Stranorlar and Red Hughs) and Tomas Carr (Abbey Vocational School and Four Masters) have both been included in the Boys Gaelic Football team.
Wilkinson is named at full-back, and Carr is positioned at centre half-forward. Both players are part of the Donegal minor football team for 2025.

Aoife McDermott (St Columba’s Comprehensive, Glenties and Naomh Conaill) has been named at midfield in the Ladies Football team.
McDermott also plays for the Donegal Ladies minor football team.
