Donegal trio hope to feature against Paraguay

BY JACK KENNEDY

The Republic of Ireland’s U17 squad will look to finish off a strong group stage campaign with victory over Paraguay this afternoon. Victory in Doha will see Ireland finish top of Group J. Ireland have guaranteed their spot in the knockout stages after their 2-1 win over Uzbekistan but today’s result will determine the opposition for the Round of 32 clash.

Finn Harps trio, Corey Cummins-Sheridan, Josh Cullen and Gavin McAteer, will look to feature against the South American side. McAteer made an appearance during the 4-1 victory over Panama, while Cummins-Sheridan and Cullen will be searching for their first appearance of this U17 World Cup.
