Donegal Town native Kevin Muldoon scored a goal to remember as he netted for Sligo Rovers in a 3-3 friendly draw against a star studded Everton side.
The teenager started the friendly, which featured Killybegs man Seamus Coleman captaining the Premier League side as he returned t0 his old club, but it was the hosts who got off to the best start in the Showgrounds.
The young Sligo side, who have an FAI Cup tie with Cobh Wanderers on Sunday, were two up at the break thanks to goals from Luke Pearce and Kyle McDonagh.
Mason Holgate responded for Sean Dyche’s men, who had multi-million signings such as Neal Maupay, Dwight McNeil, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Idrissa Gueye and Michael Keane starting.
But it was the man from Donegal Town who struck next as he capitalised on a mistake at the back to make it 3-1.
Everton however hit two goals in as many minutes with five to play through a Youssef Chermiti brace to level the game.
