Donegal Tourism launches hilarious new campaign starring Eric Roberts

Get ready to pack your bags (but maybe not too fast!) because Donegal Tourism is at it again with their newest and cheekiest campaign,Sharing Donegal’.

Following the viral sensations that were the Autumn 2023 and Spring 2024 campaigns, Donegal Tourism is back with a fresh twist.

In a playful twist on the series’ ongoing theme where locals hilariously try to keep the beauty of Donegal a bit too secret, social media hero Eric Roberts is leading the charge or should we say, guarding the gates.

The message? “It’s Ours… But, alright, maybe it can be Yours too!” The campaign invites viewers into a side-splitting tug-of-war between the urge to hoard Donegal’s gems and the irresistible charm that makes them impossible not to share.

With Roberts’ signature comedic flair and over-the-top attempts to “hide” Donegal’s spectacular sights, this latest instalment feels like the tourism version of an inside joke — one we’re all in on.

The previous campaigns have reached over 43 million people and racked up more than 8 million video views, so clearly, Donegal’s “secret” isn’t staying quiet for long.

So, if you’ve ever dreamed of strolling across endless beaches, hiking misty mountains, or enjoying sunsets that look too good to be real, it seems Donegal might just let you in.
