Kildare 1-8 Donegal 0-17

Donegal claimed a fine win over Kildare in damp conditions in Carlow today and have secured promotion back to Division 1 of the National Football League.

Donegal stretched their lead out to five points with Daire Ó Baoill and Mogan to the fore but Alex Beirne did palm in a goal for Kildare in the 49th minute.

Donegal didn’t panic and they kicked the last four points of the match as they claimed a comfortable victory.

McGuinness’s men will play Meath next Saturday before facing Armagh in the Division 2 League Final on Easter Sunday.
