DONEGAL Education and Training Board (ETB) and Donegal County Library are marking International Literacy Day on Monday, September 8, with a series of free workshops on security, scams and smartphones.

Five sessions will take place across the county throughout September, beginning at the Central Library in Letterkenny on September 8 at 2pm.

Further workshops will be held at Leabharlann Phobail Ghaoth Dobhair on Friday, September 19 at 11am, Buncrana Library on Tuesday, September 23 at 11am, Twin Towns Library on Wednesday, September 24 at 11am, and Bundoran Library on Tuesday, September 30 at 10am.

Each hour-long workshop aims to help participants feel safer online and better equipped to spot and avoid scams.
