RTÉ is set to broadcast an extraordinary new series from Irish underwater cameraman Ken O’Sullivan which features stunning scenes filmed off the coast of Donegal.
Episode one of ‘North Atlantic-The Dark Ocean’ will air on Sunday, May 14 at 6:30pm.
The series features iconic creatures and marine life of the North Atlantic from Ireland’s shores and reveals never-before-seen behaviours and challenges of some of our greatest wild animals.
During Episode 1, in the fishing port of Killybegs, Donegal, Ken goes to sea – scuba diving in search of herring shoals in the cold, dark waters (at 20 metres depth) during winter.
North Atlantic will air on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player from Sunday, May 14, 6.30pm
