Termon and Donegal ace forward Geraldine McLaughlin face a race to be fit for the All-Ireland quarter final meeting with Armagh in Clones on Sunday, August 22.
It follows reports that McLaughlin suffered an injury in a Senior Ladies Championship game at O’Donnell Park earlier today.
The Termon forward, who had already scored several goals, suffered the injury one minute into the second half as she attempted to collect a long ball.
She was immediately substituted and its understood that she may require several weeks rest. Termon won the game comfortably.
Following Saturday’s qualifiers, Donegal now know they will face Armagh on Saturday 22nd August. The game will be played at 12.30pm in Clones and will be televised live on TG4.
This will be Donegal and Armagh’s third encounter this season; Donegal beat Armagh in the opener of the National League Div 2 1-11 to 1-10 and subsequently met in the league final where Armagh ran out convincing winners 4-18 to 4-6.
