Donegal Sports Partnership is set to roll out three workshops covering different topics during the month of November.
The Sport Ireland Coaching-Coaching Girls in Sport session will be delivered via Zoom on Thursday, November 10th between 7 pm and 10 pm. The workshop has been developed to enable coaches to create a positive coaching experience of sport and physical activity for girls aged between 12 and 17 years. It will also help coaches create an environment where girls and young women can develop holistically.

The Sports First Aid workshop will take place on Tuesday, November 15th at Letterkenny Century Cinema Complex’s Backstage on Tuesday between 7 pm and 10 pm. This workshop is aimed at team coaches, mentors, officials, parents, and teachers or those who work within the sports clubs in any capacity. It provides the club with the certain knowledge that their athletes, members, and spectators will be given the best possible care until the arrival of the emergency services, and includes a series of topics that cover both medical and traumatic incidents.

The Century Cinema Complex in Letterkenny is also the venue for the Irish Heart Saver-CPR/Defib workshop which will be held on Tuesday, November 23rd, from 7 pm to 10 pm.
This workshop is open to everyone, particularly those who work in a sport or a community setting working with people and children or volunteering in a sports club. The aim of this workshop is to increase awareness, instil confidence and provide practical experience of CPR/Defib.
