Four Donegal SPAR stores are celebrating after being honoured at the 2025 SPAR 365 Standards Customer Care Programme for achieving exceptional standards in retailing. 

The event was held in Lawlor’s Hotel, in Naas in Co Kildare, and hosted by BWG Foods, owners and operators of the SPAR brand in Ireland.

This year’s SPAR 365 Awards, recognised those SPAR stores who have excelled during the year across all areas of store.

In winning these awards, the SPAR stores were independently assessed across a range of criteria including customer service as well as a robust Food Safety and Hygiene audit. 

These exemplary SPAR retailers received their award in recognition of their commitment to implementing best practice store standards throughout their store, thereby providing an excellent customer experience to their local community.

The Donegal stores who received a SPAR 365 Retailing Standards Award are:

Anthony Kernan, Kiernan’s SPAR Ballyshannon; Kernan’s SPAR Ballyshannon

Maurice Timony, Timony’s SPAR Bridge Street, Donegal Town

Paddy Dorian, Dorrian’s SPAR Glencar, Letterkenny
