THE 2015 Donegal Senior Football Championship gets underway this weekend with four games down for decision tomorrow evening and the remaining four scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
Six months on from their defeat in the Ulster semi-final against Omagh St Enda’s, reiging champions St Eunan’s begin the defence of the Dr Maguire Cup in Ardara on Sunday afternoon, throw-in 4pm.
Meanwhile, Gaoth Dobhair, the most successful team in Donegal Senior County Championship history, play hosts to last year’s beaten finalists, Glenswilly, in a real heavyweight clash in Magheragallon tomorrow evening, Saturday, 7.30pm.
All in all it promises to be an exciting weekend of football as club’s welcome their County man back to the fold before preparations begin in earnest for the Ulster quarter final meeting with Armagh.
