Donegal 1-18
Armagh 1-9
Donegal made it three wins from three in Division 3 of the National Hurling League courtesy of a nine-point victory over Armagh at O’Donnell Park on Saturday.
Mickey McCann’s men were five points to the good after 20 minutes, with Ritchie Ryan (2), John Kealy and Gerard Gilmore all finding the target before Conor O’Grady found the back of the net.
The visitors would hit back with a major of their own but a six further white flags from the hosts left them with an eight-point cushion at the short whistle.
Half-time: Donegal 1-10-1-2 Armagh
The Orchard County men battled hard after the restart to try and close the deficit but Donegal were a match to everything that their opponents threw at them.
Substitutions Danny Cullen, Ronan McDermott and Brian McIntyre all added to the home side’s second stanza tally as they ran out nine-point winners to maintain their unbeaten record in Division 3.
