Members of the Donegal GAA team paid their annual Christmas visit to the Paediatric Ward in Letterkenny University Hospital this afternoon.
They met with patients, their families and the hard-working staff to sprinkle a little festive magic.
The children were presented with selection boxes and footballs, kindly sponsored by Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure.

Donegal captain Patrick McBrearty was among the players involved in the visit. He said he was happy to play his part.
“To bring a smile to these children and a bit of Christmas happiness is a good thing to do.”
Dr Rafiq of the Paediatric Ward thanked the players for taking the time to visit the children.
“These visits really help the patients’ well-being,” he said.
“They get to meet the players and remember these days with happiness and smiles.”
