Meath did score a brace of two-pointers but they also kicked nine wides in the first half.

Donegal were able to get on top and while they missed a couple of good goal chances, they were 0-13 to 0-8 ahead at the break.

Oisin Gallen’s goal in the 42nd minute put real daylight between the sides.

Ciaran Moore and Conor O’Donnell added goals after that as Donegal cruised through to the final.

They will now face Kerry in the decider on July 27.
