HOLDERS Fanad United have been handed a mouth-watering four team grou for the defence of their Donegal News Ulster Senior League Cup.
Ollie Horgan’s side have been drawn in Group B alongside two of their old adversaries, Letterkenny Rovers and Swilly Rovers. Buncrana Hearts make up that group.
Fanad won the 2011 competition thanks to a 2-1 win over Cockhill Celtic last August at Leckview Park. Goals by Shaun McElwaine and PJ Hagan fired them to glory in the final.
Beaten 2011 finalists Cockhill Celtic are in a five-team group A alongside Derry City, Bonagee United, Drumkeen United and Kildrum Tigers.
The Donegal News is again delighted to sponsor this competition. As the largest selling newspaper in Donegal, the Donegal News endeavours to support local sport.
