Donegal need tough Armagh battle

DONEGAL’S Round 4 clash with Armagh was always going to be a crucial clash but it has now risen in importance due to the poor standard of Division 2 this season.

Each county has played three games so far but even at this early stage, it would be a major shock if the sides that meet in the Athletic Grounds on Sunday are not the teams who are to be promoted back to Division 1.

Life in the second tier is giving Donegal an opportunity to build up momentum and allows the management to look at fresh players and tactics.

However, the harsh reality is that this season it is severely lacking in quality.
