Donegal need to be ‘on it’ against Tyrone

DONEGAL senior football manager Declan Bonner says his team will have to be ‘on it from the first ball’ when they travel to Healy Park to face Tyrone in their league opener on Saturday at 5pm.

The NFL has changed this year with Division 1 split into two groups – north and south.

Donegal will take on Tyrone, Monaghan, and Armagh on successive Saturdays, and the top two teams will march on to the semi-finals, while the bottom two will head for relegation play-offs.

A slow start to the season could leave Donegal in trouble, so Bonner wants his men to make an early impression.
