The Donegal minors are chasing a second win and a Minor League semi-final spot when they take on Cavan this evening at 6.30pm
Cavan haven’t had huge success at minor level in recent years, but they are a county that Donegal generally get competitive matches against.
In previous years, you would have got three or four games at least in the Ulster Minor League but it has now been split into three sections.
Donegal will get an extra game if they top their group and that is the objective for Barry Ward and his team.
“It would be brilliant for us,” said Aodh Ruadh clubman, Ward.
“We will be going up to put our best foot forward and we have a good strong panel there.
“We used five guys off the bench against Fermanagh, and it’s all about getting guys league football in their development.
“We want to keep everyone fresh as well. We will regroup and get ready for Wednesday.”
