Donegal Minors beat Armagh to reach Ulster League Final

Donegal 3-11 Armagh 1-9

The Donegal Minor Footballers are through to the Ulster Minor League Final after they powered past Armagh at O’Donnell Park today.

Joseph Gibbons (Donegal) and Brendan Ferreira (Armagh) swapped early goals in the damp conditions.

Donegal were able to push ahead with Tomas Carr registering a brace of two-pointers.

HT: Donegal 1-9 Armagh 1-5

Barry Ward’s Donegal were able to open up an eight-point lead in the second half after Joe Doherty raised a green flag.

Armagh hit three points on the trot after that but a 60th minute goal from Matthew Enright sealed the victory.

 

Donegal will face Tyrone in the final.
