A Donegal man who undertook a fundraising walk of the Camino in memory of his late wife has presented a cheque from the funds raised to Letterkenny University Hospital and the Donegal Hospice.
Retired judge, Seán MacBride from Moville, who completed part of the Camino, a historic pilgrimage route, in memory of his late wife, Gretta MacBride, recently presented a cheque to the Acute Stroke Unit at the hospital, and the Donegal Hospice.
The funds donated were raised during his Camino journey, a heartfelt tribute to Gretta and in gratitude for the exceptional care provided by both the Acute Stroke Unit at LUH and the Donegal Hospice.
