TOPAZ, Ireland’s largest fuel and convenience retailer, is proud to announce their support for Donegal man Terry Hughes as he undertakes an extremely challenging task to raise much-needed funds for the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation.
This October, forecourt owner Terry will run 5 Irish marathons over 5 days, starting at T.J Hughes Service Station in Ballyshannon and completing his challenge at the Dublin Marathon on October 30. The challenge will see Terry run an incredible 136 miles across the country, with all funds raised going to Jack & Jill. Topaz is calling on local customers to donate whatever they can so that Terry can reach his fundraising target of €10,000 set for the coming months.
The Jack & Jill Foundation, which was founded in 1997, provides direct funding to families of children up to the age of 4 years old suffering from severe intellectual and physical developmental delay as a result of brain damage, enabling them to purchase home nursing and respite care.
The Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation cannot cure those affected, but with the fantastic help and support from people like Terry Hughes, the charity can help to relieve the financial burden on families.
Topaz and Re.Store customers across Ireland can pledge their support to the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation by donating their unwanted change in stores across the Topaz network.
Keep an eye at T.J. Hughes Service Station on Facebook as Terry’s training progress for his challenge is revealed.
