Donegal man dies in crash

A man in his 40s from Donegal has died following a crash in County Monaghan.

The male, who is from the Kilmacrennan area, was killed when his motorcycle hit a roundabout at Castleblayney short after 5pm yesterday.

Appealing for information about the incident, gardaí said, “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.

“Any road users who were travelling on the N2 near Castleblayney between 4.45pm and 5.30pm and who may have camera footage, including dash cam, is asked to make it available to gardaí.”
