A DONEGAL makeup artist has been shortlisted for Best Makeup Artist at the IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards 2025, one of Ireland’s most prestigious industry events.

Aoife Boyle is a makeup artist from Ballyshannon with a studio in Donegal Town, who works mostly with brides across the north west and Northern Ireland.

She has also worked with leading beauty brands in Selfridges, London, as well as at London Fashion Week.

“Building my reputation has taken dedication and hard work, but I feel so lucky to do what I love every single day,” Aoife said.

“I’m especially proud to be the only finalist from the northern half of the country, with most of the category dominated by Dublin and Leinster artists.

“It feels very special to be representing Donegal and the northwest on a national stage,” Aoife added.
