Donegal 1-4 Kildare 1-8
Donegal were beaten in their second game of Division 2 by All-Ireland Intermediate Champions Kildare in O’Donnell Park.
John McNulty’s team were in the lead for long periods of the game, thanks to an early Katie Dowds goal, and went into the break 1-3 to 0-5 ahead, with other points from Katy Herron (free), Amy Boyle Carr and Shannon McLaughlin.
But a yellow card for McLaughlin with the scores level gave Kildare the advantage and they took it through a Roisin Byrne goal, who ended on 1-5 for the visitors, while Boyle Carr got the only Donegal point of the second half.
