Donegal have been drawn with the Ulster Champions, the Munster runner-up, and Monaghan in the All-Ireland Championship draw.
Donegal’s first game will be against the side beaten in the Munster decider. That will be either Kerry or Clare, and Donegal will be away to that county on May 20/21.
Their second match will be at home against the Ulster Champions on the June Bank Holiday weekend. That fixture will be against either Derry or Armagh.
The third and final fixture will be in a neutral venue on June 17/18 and will be against Monaghan.
The top team in the group will advance through to the quarter-finals, while the second and third-placed teams will go through to a Preliminary Round to make the last eight. The county that finishes bottom of their group will be eliminated from the competition.
Donegal were beaten by Down in the Ulster Championship and will have to improve considerably on that showing if they are to make any dent in the All-Ireland Series.
