Donegal 0-6 Galway 2-17
THE Donegal ladies were second best as they took a first defeat under James Daly’s tenure against an impressive Galway side in MacCumhaill Park on Sunday.
It was a tight affair for the first quarter of an hour before Shauna Hynes struck the net but Olivia Divilly’s goal soon after put them six clear at the break at 2-4 to 0-4, Jodie McFadden (2), Susanne White and Eva Gallagher with the Donegal points.
Galway tagged on four scores soon after the restart and while McFadden and White pointed again, the visitors hit the final eight points of the game to maintain their 100% record in Division 2.
