Donegal ladies taste defeat against strong Armagh side

Armagh 3-9 Donegal 0-7

There was disappointment for the Donegal ladies team as they were beaten by strong Armagh side in the Ulster Final in Clones today.

Armagh came into the game as raging hot favourites and Aoife McCoy scored two super goals in the first quarter.

Susanne White nailed a free for Donegal but they struggled to land scores.

HT: Armagh 2-4 to 0-1.

Niamh Coleman bagged a third goal for Armagh who were always comfortable.

Cait Gillespie, Katie Dowds, Rhianna McColgan and Eva Gallagher (2) all notched points from play for a young Donegal team, but they were second best on the day.
