DONEGAL goalkeeper Luke White is hoping the hurlers can get over the line and qualify for the Nickey Rackard final with a win this weekend.
Donegal are three wins from three and another win will guarantee them a spot in the final.
White, a Wexford native, has been part of Mickey McCann’s set up since 2020, and won the Nickey Rackard in 2020 with the county that year.
And he’ll be hoping that after Saturday’s game they will be one game off winning the competition again as they try to right the wrongs of last year.
They take on the newly promoted Louth who have just one point from their three games so far.
“We knew from last year when we drew with Roscommon we put ourselves in a situation we didn’t want to be in so we targeted the first three games as must win, especially with the two away games.
“We had injuries in the league but we’ve got our full squad back now and it shows.
“We don’t want to be waiting on any other results, at the end of the day we want to beat Louth and get in there.”
