Donegal house prices rise by 3 per cent

A shortage of properties is continuing to push Donegal’s house prices upwards.

The latest survey by the Real Estate Alliance (REA) shows that the cost of a second-hand, three-bed semi rose by 3.4 per-cent in the first three months of the year.

The average price of a three-bed home now stands at €150,000 – up from an average of €145,000 in December 2022.

According to REA, there is a north/south split when it comes to prices.

The average cost of a three-bed home in Milford is now €145,000 – up from an average of €140,000 in December.

But anyone looking to buy a similar property in Bundoran can expect to pay €155,000.
