Odhran MacNiallais in action against Antrim in the 2014 Ulster Championship quarter-final semi-final
DONEGAL have received a good draw in the 2017 Ulster Senior Football Championship, after they were handed a home game against Antrim in the quarter-finals.
Donegal manager Rory Gallagher will be pleased to get home advantage as they have an excellent record in MacCumhaill Park in recent years. However, he will be wary of the saffrons, who did upset Donegal in Ballybofey back in 2011.
The county last played Antrim in the Ulster Championship semi-final in 2014, and ran out comfortable 3-16 to 0-12 winners on their way to claiming the Anglo Celt Cup.
Antrim had a decent 2016, winning promotion to Division 3, but Donegal will be big favourites to land a spot in the 2017 semi-final. If they do make it through to the last four, they will come up against the winners of Derry and Tyrone.
Donegal manager Shaun Paul Barrett will also be glad to secure a home draw against Antrim in the Ulster Minor Football Championship.
