Tyrone 1-10 Donegal 0-15

Donegal had to work hard to eventually see off Tyrone at Healy Park in the McKenna Cup today.

Donegal were dominant in the first half and they led by 0-9 to 0-4 with Patrick McBrearty scoring three points.

Tyrone were much improved after the restart and reeled off four on trot.

Oisin Gallen steadied Donegal with two scores but they found themselves behind in the 58th minute when Ciaran Daly palmed in a goal.

Donegal didn’t panic and a brace from Gallen as well as a Shane O’Donnell score helped them grind out a victory.
