GARDAÍ in Donegal hosted members of the Latvian Police this week as part of an ongoing Human Trafficking Investigation in the county.
Taking to social media, Gardaí said they had the “pleasure” of working with the Latvian Police to progress their ongoing investigation.
“We are extremely grateful to our Joint Investigation Team in Latvia for their diligent work and assistance with this case.

“This is the first Mutual Assistance case of its kind to take place in the North West,” a spokesperson concluded.
