BY RYAN FERRY

No official date has been given for the launch of the new jersey just yet but it is hoped to be held next month.

O’Neill’s will continue to be the kit manufacturer, while Circet are remaining on as the sponsor on the front of the shirt.

Abbey Hotel are long-standing backers of Donegal GAA and will have their name on the back of the jersey, while MCR and Pod-Trak will have their logos on the sleeves once again.

The Donegal jersey is traditionally one of O’Neill’s best-selling, and fans will be keen to get their hands on the new version in time for the start of the McKenna
Cup.

Meanwhile, Donegal GAA will host their Awards Night in the Abbey Hotel on Saturday
night.

The Donegal senior football team will collect their Ulster Championship medals, while the County Football and Hurling Player of the Year recipients will also be revealed.

Finnbarr Roarty will collect the Gradam Shéamuis Mhic Géidigh award for the player of the Donegal Senior Championship, while there will also be gongs for the best players in the Hurling Senior, Intermediate, and Junior Championships as well as the Intermediate and Junior football competitions.

Termon have been named as Club of the Year while Ulster GAA stalwart John Friel will enter the Donegal GAA Hall of Fame.
