DONEGAL UFC fighter Joseph Duffy will take on the highly rated Dustin ‘The Diamond’ Poirier in Dublin in October.
Duffy appeared on TV3’s Ireland AM this morning to make the announcement.
The fight will be the headline match-up of the UFC Fight Night taking place in the 3Arena on October 24.
Duffy (14-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC), who recently defeated Ivan Jorge via first-round submission at UFC Fight Night 72 in Glasgow, has been matched with Poirier (18-4 MMA, 10-3 UFC) in the main event of UFC Fight Night 77, which takes place at Dublin’s 3Arena. The entire card is expected to stream on UFC Fight Pass.
