Donegal 1-13 Tyrone 1-11
Donegal produced a fantastic battling performance to defeat Tyrone in the Ulster Championship quarter-final in Ballyofey today.
The home side made a poor start to the game and found themselves 0-5 to 0-1 down after twenty minutes.
However, the water break settled Donegal, and Michael Langan scored a point and a great goal to level matters.
Donegal had the better of the end of the first half and led by 1-5 to 0-6 at half-time.
Tyrone made a great start to the second half and Darragh Canavan helped himself to a point and a goal.
That saw Donegal fall two points behind but they responded by kicking the next four scores.
It was tit-for-tat after that, but Donegal were two points up heading into injury-time after scores from Ciaran Thompson and Oisin Gallen.
Tyrone needed a goal but they couldn’t find it and Donegal march through to the Ulster Championship semi-final.
