DONEGAL 0-14 FERMANAGH 0-12
DONEGAL defeated north-west neighbours Fermanagh in a challenge game played at Mundy’s Field in Ballyshannon earlier today.
With the majority of the Donegal panel in Dubai on a team holiday for the 2014 squad, Rory Gallagher used the chance to field more of the frings members of his ranks.
It proved a useful exercise against a Fermanagh side that was in similarly experimental mode.
Paul Durcan played the first half with St Michael’s Mark Anthony McGinley coming in for the second half while Mark McHugh and Ryan Malley scored two points apiece.
Gary McFadden top-scored for Donegal with five points while Glenswilly’s Joe Gibbons also got up for a point on a day when Caolan Kelly (Glenswilly) and CJ Molloy (Ardara) lined out for the first time this year for the county.
