THE Director of Donegal based company DPPS Contracts yesterday refuted claims they breached proper employment practices after their company was named in the Seanad.
Johnny McCafferty and Kevin McCafferty’s company provide BAM and other major contractors with construction workers.
Their company was named in the Seanad by Senator Paul Garvan along with another linked company Enagh Building Contractors Ltd in relation to a state funded project in Waterford.
According to an article in a national paper at the weekend, workers on some major state funded projects are being forced to register as bogus self-employed.
