Donegal company in ‘Oz’ link for bus drivers

DONEGAL business ,the Swilly Group, has been awarded a contract by a major bus company to provide employment in Australia.

The company is partnering with the Ventura Bus Company from Melbourne to assist with and facilitate the recruitment of Irish bus drivers to work in Australia.

Ventura is looking to recruit experienced bus drivers for minimum four-year contracts to work predominantly in their city bus operations.

Candidates can look forward to a generous salary, assistance with visa applications, secure employment and a vibrant way of life.

The Swilly Group will assist Ventura with the recruitment and selection process including skills assessment of suitable bus drivers.

The Donegal company’s 37-year history as Ireland’s leading driver training company, multiple locations throughout Ireland and their flexible approach led to Ventura awarding Swilly Group the contract.

Ventura is looking for drivers holding a full EU Bus licence (Category D), a minimum of three years bus driving experience, excellent customer service skills, references from previous employers and a clean driving history.

Swilly Group senior instructors will support a recruitment team from Ventura who will be travelling to Ireland in late April 2012.
