Donegal 1-6 Kerry 0-9
Donegal came back and took a well deserved point against a quality Kerry side in their first game of the All-Ireland group stage in MacCumhaill Park.
Caoimhe Keon got Donegal off to a perfect start as she fired the ball into the top corner and points from Katie Dowds, Susanne White (free) and Niamh McLaughlin had the sides level 1-3 to 0-6 at the break.
Kerry led for over 20 minutes in the second half with three points as Donegal only replied through another White free.
But with five minutes to go, Dowds got her second point with a goal chance on and White converted a third free soon after as the game ended in a draw.
Donegal face Waterford in their second and final group game away from home in two weeks.
