Donegal Collies in search of their forever families

Donegal County Council is making an urgent appeal to the community in search of new homes for three Collies.

In a heartfelt social media post, the Council highlighted three dogs, each in need of a loving family and a stable environment.

Among those seeking a new home is a male Collie, estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old.

He is joined by a female Collie cross, also around 1 to 2 years old, as well as ‘Cap,’ a 6-year-old male Collie who, despite his maturity, is just as eager to find a forever family.

The Council is urging those interested in adopting to contact the Dog Shelter by calling 074 91 25159 during office hours, between 10:30am and 1:30pm, Monday to Friday.

While the appeal was shared on social media, they are unable to handle enquiries through those channels and ask that all communication be made by phone.

If you’re looking to add a furry friend to your family, these Collies could be the perfect companions, and the Council urges you to get in touch with the shelter.
