IT WAS a very successful night for Donegal businesses who took home awards across the board at this year’s Irish Wedding Awards.
The event, now in its sixth year, was hosted by Creative Oceanic powered by Oceanic Events at the Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport.
Letterkenny based business Weddings By Stevie Toye Logopix took home the award for Wedding Photographer of the Year.
This is the second year in a row the business has received this accolade.
Lifford’s Shannon Dolan was awarded the overall winner of the Hair & Make Up Salon of the Year award as well as the Hair & Make Up Salon of the Year for Ulster.
The award for Groomswear Supplier of the Year went to Mark 2 Menswear, Carndonagh while Donegal based Touch Of Venus Jewellery was named Wedding Accessories Provider of the Year.
Meanwhile Letterkenny musician Sinead Black was highly commended in the Outstanding Wedding Supplier of the Year and Letterkenny based Grá Events was highly commended in the Event Decorator of the Year category.
The black-tie ceremony was hosted by presenter and author Andrea Hayes.
A Spokesperson for the 6th Irish Wedding Awards 2024 said: “It was another fantastic night as we celebrated the continued growth of the Irish wedding industry. It was the most competitive year so far for finalists and everyone who attended was among the elite of the sector, continuing to go above and beyond for their clients.
