A YELLOW wind warning is set to take effect across the county from 3am tomorrow, Tuesday.
Very strong and gusty winds are expected, with possible gales near coastal areas.
Members of the public are being advised to expect difficult travel conditions, and there is also a warning of flooding in low-lying coastal areas, wave overtopping, and debris or loose objects being displaced.
The warning will remain in place until 9pm tomorrow night.
The latest wind warning comes after hundreds and homes and businesses were left without power last Thursday week following heavy winds. There were also outbreaks of thunder and lightning.
Donegal was also hit by heavy rain over the weekend, particularly late on Saturday night and into Sunday. It resulted in extremely dangerous driving conditions in parts of the county due to surface water while there were also reports of flooding.
A number of sporting fixtures and community events were also impacted by the bad weather.
