Donegal 1-22 Derry 1-19

Donegal battled back brilliantly in the final quarter to defeat Derry at Fr Tierney Park this afternoon.

However, Derry improved after that and two-pointers from Lachlan Murray and Shane McGuigan had them in front at the break.

Derry were excellent at the start of the second half and a Conor Glass goal helped them into a 1-18 to 0-13 lead after 55 minutes.

However, Donegal didn’t give up and a great goal from Shane O’Donnell re-energised the home team.

Ciaran Thompson then landed a two-pointer before Conor O’Donnell (2), Ciaran Moore, and Ó Baoill added scores late on as Donegal claimed their fourth league win from five games.
