Donegal-based small business receives €10,000 grant

DONEGAL-based small business Pumpskynz was awarded a €10,000 cheque from Three’s Grants for Small Businesses Programme.

The Donegal business, founded by Catherine Devine, was chosen as one of the ten grant winners, which saw the company receive a portion of the €100,000 bursary.

Pumpskynz create durable, eco-friendly and brightly designed covers for diabetes pumps – allowing users of diabetes pumps to personalise their device while also protecting against drops, bumps, cracks and scratches.

The eco-friendly covers come in a range of colours and designs, including glitter and glow in the dark.

Funded by Three Ireland and managed by the small business network and support provider, Enterprise Nation, the bursary comprises of €5000 cash and €5000 for device and connectivity solutions, as well as mentoring from Three Ireland’s in-house experts.
