AFTER stellar performances at Limerick’s Indie Music Week, Donegal band Mojo GoGo came out on top winning the Top Indie Band award, which was arranged as part of Limerick’s City of Culture celebrations.
Mojo Gogo put in some mind-blowing performances at Limerick’s Cobblestone Joe’s and Dolan’s over the weekend and quite rightly reigned as champions.
They will now be a headliner of 250 bands at Indie Week Canada wich takes place from October 15 to 19 which is a terrific achievement for the band.
Mojo Gogo are Niki Pollock (guitar/vocals), Jordan Carty (drums), Keelin Gallagher (bass/vocals) and Paul Rodgers (guitar) who all hail from South West Donegal.
The band is set to host their third annual ARANMOJO Festival which takes place on Arranmore Island from August 16 and 17.
Last year being a complete sell out, the band plans to improve on their very own festival even more this year with a line-up of top bands.
There are only 200 weekend tickets available for the festival, each priced €22.50, and Sunday only tickets are priced at €10.
Make sure you get your ticket as this is bound to be another sell out! Tickets for the festival go on sale on Friday 9th May and can be purchased on aranmojofestival.com. Mojo Gogo are also performing at this year’s Sea Sessions Festival in Bundoran on Friday, June 27.
